About Kadami
The World Health Organization observes that “health is not merely the absence of disease but a state of complete physical, mental, social and spiritual well being.” Centuries earlier Hippocrates had wisely observed that health is a mans most valuable possession. Good health is a necessary ingredient in allowing individuals to lead an economically productive life.
The Kadami Hospital project is a self help project and an effort by a local community in an economically deprived region in Uganda to address its pressing need for better health care and to provide primary health care services to the local and surrounding communities through community effort and involvement while appealing to the government and the international community for help.
MISSION STATEMENT:
- To bring hope to a people in dire need of health care by providing sustainable medical care to all and most especially to women and children as the most vulnerable group.
- To help break the vicious cycle of poverty and help work towards Economic wellbeing in the region by fostering health as a resource.
VISION STATEMENT:
- To build and operate an efficient medical facility capable of meeting the needs of the community through provision of health and prevention of disease and disability through community health education initiatives.
