Lydia, Roman Serunjogi’s daughter, is currently in her fifth year of six in medical school in Russia. She recently wrote to ECHOES board member Dr. Joe Bonn, thanking him for procuring a sophisticated microscope for the Double Cure Medical Clinic. She writes, “It is really helpful because people can now be treated with true knowledge of what is to be treated ...” 

 

Lydia recently spent time in western Uganda doing her electives in Kisiizi Hospital, a remote location that gave her a chance to see unusual cases. Once she completes her medical education, Lydia intends to return to the Double Cure Medical Clinic to practice.
