How often have you thought of helping the people of Africa? Where are the organizations that will create opportunities for children and adults to overcome food and power shortages, poverty, the fallout from AIDS, a minimal education system?
ECHOES Around the World is just such an organization. A 510 (C) (3) public charity, ECHOES debuted in May 2006 with the mission to support the education of children and communities for health, opportunities, enlightenment, and survival. We have teamed up with two Ugandans of incredible vision and dedication. Sarah and Romans Serunjogi have created two schools in Uganda as well as other projects. The success of Trinity Primary School and Centenary High School has been nothing short of remarkable over a twenty year period, thanks to the help of generous donors and interested parties.

Donation facts:
90% of your donation goes to Uganda to assist with projects there.
- $500 pays for lunch for all the students for one week
- $250 pays for 30 mosquito nets.
- $100 pays for paper and pencils for all kindergarteners for a full term.
- $100 (hopefully) pays for gasoline for the school truck for a week.

May I Donate In-Kind Goods or Services?
We want to support the local economy in Uganda whenever we can. For that reason we prefer that donations be made in USD (US Dollars) which we can convert to Ugandan Shillings and so can purchase goods locally. The uniformity of the supplies, warranties and technical support are more easily monitored on local purchases.
If you prefer to make an in-kind donation, check the ECHOES Wish List periodically. From time to time, requests will arrive for specific items not generally available in Uganda. Please do not send any unsolicited goods. They will be returned.
Does my donation go to specific categories?
Monies donated to ECHOES are pooled and used in a variety of ways to continue the programs at the schools. Over 90% of your donation is used to help feed, clothe, shelter and educate our orphaned student population, to pay teacher salaries and to assist with school operational expenses. In all cases, your donation helps the children of Trinity and Centenary achieve their dreams of an education ...and a life after school.
May I designate a donation to a specific category or project?
Special project donations are at the discretion of both the Board of Directors and members of the Advisory Board. Please contact us directly by fax or email if you wish to fund a special project.
Is it safe to use my credit card online?
